May 15th, 2026 - Interwoven: AAPI Heritage
On May 15th, 2026, LAVIET hosted Interwoven: AAPI Heritage at the Gillespie Gallery of Art at George Mason University, supported by the Network of Vietnamese International Students. Created at the intersection of culture, fashion, and community, this intimate, curated evening celebrated Asian American voices through storytelling, cultural cuisine tastings, live music performances, and fashion design and art showcases.

April 7th, 2026 - Prototype: RVAFW
On April 7th, 2026, RVA Fashion Week presented Prototype: Made to Inspire at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture. Showcasing the stories of immigrants shaping Virginia’s rich history, RVAFW set the foundation for LAVIET’s debut. Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese áo dài and áo yếm, LAVIET presented modern, contemporary silhouettes of both to represent how the Vietnamese diaspora has taken form in fashion, culture, and community in the United States.
